About the Life of Sheikh Jafar Mahmud Adam:

Born in Daura around 1962 (or possibly early 1964), Sheikh Ja’afar Mahmoud Adam completed his Quranic studies in 1978. In 1980, he enrolled in Arabic language studies at the Egyptian Cultural Centre in Cairo and continued his education at Adult Evening Classes for Arabic learning without formal education in Egypt.

In 1983, he finished these courses and joined GATC Gwale in 1984, completing his studies there in 1988. In 1989, he pursued Islamic Studies at Madinah University, specializing in Tafsir, finishing in 1993.

Furthermore, he obtained two Master's degrees from the University of Africa and Khartoum, Sudan, and a PhD from Usman Danfodio University in Sokoto. Through his academic journey, he honed his expertise in Quranic exegesis before beginning his impactful work on Quranic interpretation in Hausa.
